  • This improvement is not a bug. If you want to report a bug, please use this template.

Describe the improvement

The warning "Installer host changed since the installed version" reappears for every subsequent update, even after the update has been successfully installed. Currently, there is no way to permanently acknowledge this warning.

Image

Allow users to permanently acknowledge the warning. This could be done through an explicit confirmation option or by automatically acknowledging the warning when the update is successfully installed. The warning should only reappear if the installer host changes again.

Describe how this improvement could help users

Users would no longer see the same warning repeatedly for a package whose new installer source they have already accepted. This reduces unnecessary warnings and avoids requiring users to repeatedly verify a change they have already acknowledged, while still notifying them of future host changes.
