IT manager. Infrastructure, security and service operations.
About twenty years across enterprise IT operations, infrastructure, security, digital workplace and technology governance. I started at the support desk and in server rooms, and I still build and test things myself.
- Operations and service management: service desk, endpoint operations, patching, daily routines, service levels.
- Infrastructure and resilience: virtualization, backup and recovery, network design, planned recovery testing.
- Security and governance: hardening baselines, vulnerability management, audit readiness, vendor management.
- Budget and delivery: OPEX and CAPEX models, KPI scorecards, multi-site standardization, IT separation projects.
- Building: a domain and e-mail security monitoring product, and a small lab for infrastructure and AI-agent work.
| Project | What it is |
|---|---|
| it-leadership-playbooks | Vendor-neutral operating notes and templates: budget, service desk, audit readiness, disaster recovery, hardening and more |
| enterprise-infrastructure-lab | Layered architecture, quality engineering and agent-engine design, documented like production |
| security-operations-toolkit | Defensive, read-only checks for e-mail authentication, TLS certificates and HTTP security headers |
| Korantix | Domain and e-mail security monitoring from public data only: no credentials, no tenant access |
MSc in Computer Engineering. Coursework on machine learning (KNIME), big data (Hadoop and Hive) and mobile networks is in academic.
- Architecture should be operable, not only designed.
- Security should be measurable.
- Evidence comes before claims.
- Automation should remove friction, not add moving parts.
- Everything published here is written fresh and generalized.
