Original author of document #3

Hey Mattias,
I'd like to cite your repository's document in an academic paper, and I want to make sure I attribute it correctly.
The document lists the author as "Mattias E. O. Andersson," while the repository is under your current name.
Are these the same person (e.g. a name change), or is Andersson a separate original author I should credit?
And which name and year would you prefer for the citation?
