Summary

  • Build the Web UI into the server image and start it with --ui-dir /app/ui.
  • Switch the runtime image to Debian slim so docker/kubectl exec has a shell, and send server logs to stdout.
  • Add a single-replica Kubernetes StatefulSet and NodePort Service for that image.
  • Ignore local docs/superpowers/ planning notes that are not already tracked.

Test plan

  • docker build -f deployments/docker/Dockerfile -t umodel-open-source:local . produces an image that serves the UI on port 8080
  • docker compose -f deployments/compose/docker-compose.yaml up --build passes --ui-dir /app/ui
  • Container logs appear on stdout
  • kubectl apply -f deployments/k8s/ starts the server and /healthz responds

Package the UI into the server image, add Kubernetes manifests, and send container logs to stdout.
