Create a GitHub repository where you will keep your thesis document #433

Open

Description

@katyhuff

It will be helpful to have a repository to eventually hold your MS thesis document. That repository will be the home repository for issues associated with the completion of your MS thesis (the remaining draft issues in this MS Thesis Project will be created and housed in that repository once you have completed this task.)

This issue can be closed once you have completed the following tasks.

  • Go to https://github.com/arfc/ms-thesis-template
  • Review the template to ensure it is aligned with current UIUC MS thesis document requirements
  • Use that template to "create a new repository" within the arfc organization
  • It should follow ARFC repo naming conventions, so it would be YYYY-lastname-ms , assuming you'll submit it in the year YYYY and your last name is lastname.
  • Make sure you and @katyhuff have full permissions on this repository
  • You may make this repository either public or private, as desired. However, open source is always preferred.
  • Work with @katyhuff to convert all remaining draft issues in this project to actual issues associated with the new GitHub repository.

    @katyhuff Should this issue exist in this repo? Or does it need to be moved elsewhere?
