Git+ is a build of the Git extension that ships with VS Code, extended with:
- changelists: named groups of changes in Source Control, with hunk-level assignment
- commit of a single changelist without touching the index
- history rewriting in the Source Control Graph: edit message, squash, drop, reset, undo commit
It uses proposed VS Code APIs and is distributed as a .vsix through GitHub Releases. See INSTALL.md for installation and updates.
Notice: This extension is bundled with Visual Studio Code. It can be disabled but not uninstalled.
See Git support in VS Code to learn about the features of this extension.
The Git extension exposes an API, reachable by any other extension.
