I built a curated list of genuinely free AI tools — no credit card, no fake trials #210896
🏷️ Discussion TypeQuestion BodyHi everyone 👋 I'm Bilal, and I maintain Awesome Free AI Tools — a curated GitHub list of AI tools that are actually free to use. Why I built it: I got tired of "free AI tools" lists full of 7-day trials, credit-card walls, and "free" tiers you can't do anything with. So every tool on this list must have a genuinely usable free tier — and each entry says exactly what the free tier gives you. What's inside (8 categories):
📂 The list: https://github.com/bilalsyr/awesome-free-ai-tools The best part: it's already growing with community contributions — tool makers and users have started submitting their favorites by pull request, and every submission gets reviewed. My question to you: what's your favorite free AI tool that most people don't know about? If it's missing from the list, you can suggest it here — submissions are open to everyone: Feedback on the list itself is very welcome too. Thanks for reading! |

Hey Bilal! First of all, incredible work putting this together. I completely agree with you, it's so frustrating when lists claim to be 'free' only to hit you with a paywall after 3 days. Having clear details on what the free tier actually includes is a game-changer. I was checking out your voice & music section and noticed edge-tts is in there, which is awesome. Thanks for building and sharing this. Starred the repo! |
